OURSELVES.
Many of us grew up with this picture: at the end of the month, Amma puts an envelope aside. Not for us – for the family back home. For a niece's school fees, an uncle's medicine, a roof after the monsoon.
Our parents started over in a foreign country, often with almost nothing. And still they shared. Not because they had a lot – but because they knew what it feels like to have little.
THIS IS TAMIL carries that spirit forward. With every piece you buy, we set aside CHF 1 – for children and adults who are in need today. For a school notebook. A warm meal. A doctor's visit. A new beginning.
One franc sounds small. But that is exactly how it started for our parents: with an envelope, month after month. Together, it becomes a future.

Do I pay more for this?
No. The contribution comes out of our revenue. You don't pay a cent more.
Which partners do you work with?
We only work with partners whose work we can verify. As soon as a partnership is confirmed, we will introduce it here with name, location and project.
How do I find out what happens with the money?
We update the counter on this page every month and publish reports as soon as contributions have been paid out and projects completed. We only count what can be verified.
Does this apply to every product?
Yes – for every item sold, from caps to hoodies.
